Projector Class
Ultra-Mobile -Ideal for the
traveling presenter. Provides a great low weight to brightness ratio while
maintaining the desired data resolution and video output. Some projectors listed
sacrifice features including work station connectivety, power zoom and focus, and remote
control capabilities. Typical weight from 6 to 10 pounds.
Mobile
- Generally a step up from the Ulta-Mobile class in brightness and features.
These projectors are designed for the presenter on the move. Typically
weighing from 10 to 15 pounds, a Mobile class projector will electrify a small to
medium size presentation environment. Lights pose little or no interference with
brightness ranges from 700 to 1300 ANSI lumens. Great for video presentation in
office or home.
Conference
- The Conference class projector is designed for either permanent or
portable applications. Work station connectivety and control system interface is
available for many of these inspiring presentation projectors.
Large
Venue - The ultamate in modern presentation technology. A Large
Venue class projector is designed for the professional presentation environment.
Application would include large classrooms, conference/training facilities, engineering
and design, and religious venues.
Projector Budget
Under $ 3,000.00 -These SVGA
projectors typically offer under 500 lumens of brightness and may or may not include zoom
lenses and other accessories such as cables, cases and remote controls. Great
projectors for small training or class rooms where control of light is offered.
$ 3,000.00 to $ 5,000.00 - A step
up in class these projectors are typically SVGA resolution ranging in brightness from 550
to 800 lumens. Most include manual or powered zoom and focus, full remote control,
enhanced video and data capabilty and increased menu features. Lighting may be on to
slightly dim in most environments.

5,000.00 to $ 8,000.00- Deigned for either the professional mobile
presenter or permanent installations these SVGA and XGA high lumen projectors range from
1,000 to over 1,600 lumens with weights under 14 pounds. Lights on environments pose
little if any disruptions to image quality.
Over
$ 8,000.00 - The ultamate in modern presentation technology. A
Large Venue class projector with either XGA (1024 x 768) or SXGA (1280 x 1024) native or
true resolution incorporating a minimum of 1,000 lumens of brightness.
